SUMMARY
The Product Coordinator will support the processing department on the day-to-day activities by assisting in fulfilling product and service orders. When consumers make purchases, the processing clerk will enter the order details into a computerized system and assist in ensuring the items are delivered properly. This position will step in, in the absence of the Production Manager.
WORKING RELATIONSHIPS
The position reports directly to the Production Manager, provides supervision to Production Leads, Maintenance, Sanitation, and oversight of all production employees. Works with the Quality Team on all food safety protocols, food safety, and compliance issues.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job, an individual must be able to perform and coordinate the workflow for the following:
· Data Entry (Input all orders in the system – WPL)
· Be able to type efficiently and accurately
· Good communication skills
· Distribute orders to departments (Processing, QC and Receiving) for client’s order requests
· Print invoices daily and distribute to all outside carriers and in-house transportation drivers
· Input completed transfer forms in Astra software with details of product in inventory
· Provide print jobs of Product Reports for each processing department from the Astra scanner
· Input “Multi-product processing” (Post Pack Summary, Standard Weight) in Astra
· Assist payroll administrator with employees Miss Punches and Meal Waivers
· Print product and ingredient labels for processing
· Daily conduct “Product Coordination” with plant supervisor or receiving between buildings
· Print/Scan/Send Weekly Inventory Reports (Both Buildings) via email
· Appointment Log Sheet from Stater Brothers is provided and transferred on to a spread sheet format
· Time stamp and complete “Daily Customer Order Log Sheet” packets
· Maintain Processing Office files up to date and organized. (Radios Inventory, Attendance, Daily Scanning Reports, Pack Summary, and Transfers)
· Create/File Exact Weight Report daily
· Create Sales Orders (Including Employee Sales) for customers in ASTRA
· New Items/ New Customers and Stores Set-Up in the WPL system
· Produce Production Sheet for in Excel, as needed
· Assist employees, scale operators, supervisors resolving questions.
· Perform a variety of office and clerical functions as required
· Backing-up receptionist (answering and transferring phone calls)

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or GED certificate; or two to five years related experience.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and procedure manuals.
