Outside Sales Representative - Account Manager
Ken Smith Auto Parts Inc. is a locally owned and operated parts supplier for the professional installer. We have over 50 years of experience serving family owned repair shops, vehicle fleets, national service chains, and dealerships. Our customer service staff are experts in parts with decades of experience cataloging and finding the correct parts for your repair. We offer quick delivery and a huge selection of original equipment and aftermarket brands in stock. We also sell tools, shop equipment, and supplies.
Ken Smith Auto Parts Inc., is currently looking to hire an Outside Sales Representative for our Nashville Tennessee region. As an Outside Sales Representative, you will provide our potential and current customers with a world- class experience through outstanding customer service skills and knowledge of our business systems.
Responsibilities Include:
- Soliciting, presenting product, and selling to new & existing customers daily.
- Being familiar with product literature and being able to convey product information & availability to customers.
- Complying with established company policies & procedures.
- Prospecting possible new accounts from a variety of leads
- Visiting new established accounts
- Visiting established accounts with a high upside potential for development
- Working as a team with internal stake holders on customer issues, account development, regional development, and maintenance planning
- Ability to communicate remotely with the Director of Sales and other key stake holders.
- Assuming other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Prior Outside Sales experience particularly in the Automotive field
- Ability to travel Monday through Friday every week.
- Strong time management and organizational skills required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate in a concise manner with internal and external customers.
- Microsoft Office product experience; strong Outlook & Excel skills
- Must be able to thrive in a group/team environment.
Preferred Experience:
- Some college coursework/degree preferred.
- Prior B2B sales or account management experience
- Automotive installer and dealer experience a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $57,200.00 - $85,000.00 per year
