Our Office Manager/Bookkeeper will have the opportunity to work in a unique position, managing a high-performing staff and becoming an integral part of the day-to-day projects and decisions that impact the leadership of our firm. Primary responsibilities include:
Bookkeeping-
- QuickBooks Desktop Pro
- Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable
- General ledger and financial account reconciliation
- Monthly and weekly financial statements
- Work with CPA on corporate income tax and prepare 1099's
- File monthly Sales Tax
Office Administration-
- Building extensive business and personal relationships
- Order and maintain all office supplies, manage filing system
- Ensuring a "concierge" level of service is consistently delivered to our clients
- Proactively anticipating our Executive’s needs or suggesting superior alternatives
- Maintaining a demanding office schedule
- Organizing travel, events, and company functions
- Document management and efficient file organization
- Leading knowledge of our CRM system
- Inter-office, employee leadership, and task prioritization
- Performing basic office management functions
Our firm will weigh attitude, personality, and a professional presentation heavily. Other
characteristics of a competitive applicant include:
- CAP Certified or 4-year degree in General Business Administration
- 2 years plus experience with Quickbooks software and payroll processing
- Must have experience using MS Word, Excel, and Outlook, and expense management
- Experience in financial services, banking or legal industry
- Ability to respond to work schedule changes with very short notice and have a commute of less than 25 miles
- Occasional Travel required
