**Job Overview:**
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accounting Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the non profit space and experience with month end close, grants, and account analysis. As a Senior Accounting Consultant, you will play a key role in providing expert financial advice and support to our clients.
**Responsibilities:**
- Conduct financial audits and reviews to ensure compliance with regulations
- Perform detailed account analysis and reconciliation
- Utilize accounting software to manage financial data and generate reports
- Oversee payroll processes and ensure accuracy
- Provide expertise in wills, trusts, and estate law as needed
- Assist in balance sheet reconciliation and financial statement preparation
- Support corporate accounting functions including budgeting and forecasting
- Offer insights into corporate finance strategies
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounting records
**Requirements:**
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (Master's degree preferred)
- Non Profit Experience
- Strong knowledge of corporate accounting principles
- Familiarity with balance sheet reconciliation techniques
- Proficiency in using accounting software for data management
- Excellent understanding of payroll processes
- Ability to interpret wills, trusts, and estate laws for financial planning purposes
