The Assistant Manager position is a steppingstone towards becoming a General Manager (GM). This position requires open availability, including working weekends and a commitment to ongoing training
Assistant Manager duties and responsibilities:
- Assist the General Manager as directed
- Demonstrate understanding of running a store from open to closing
- Communicate store goals to team members to provide excellent customer service
- Controls food cost components of waste, prep, weights, portioning, and theft during shifts
- Count inventory and put away truck orders
- Assist general manager with schedule, and other responsibilities
- Effectively uses Dominos pre-shift and shift job aids and tools to ensure optimum product quality
- Assist in hiring and training of new team members
- Performs other duties as assigned
Some of the qualifications and skills useful for an Assistant Manager are:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Prior leadership experience required
- Experience in employee development
- Ability to demonstrate food safety protocols
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to operate and troubleshoot technology
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week
