TITLE: Industrial Electrical Technician
LOCATION: Brooklyn, NY

Job Overview: The Industrial Electrical Technician is a multi-craft position that requires a working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic (PLC). This position provides emergency and routine maintenance support to the operations departments in an industrial/automated environment. Strong knowledge of Electrical Controls is preferred.
What You Will Do:
- You will successfully troubleshoot, install, inspect, maintain, and repair electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment as directed.
- Work to perform troubleshooting using a PLC.
- Identify parts and supplies as needed to perform assigned tasks using manuals, catalog, etc.
- You will confer with operators and observers, tests, and evaluates operations of machinery and equipment to diagnose cause of malfunction.
- Disassembles machinery and equipment to remove parts and make repairs.
- You will repair, replace, adjust, and align components of machinery and equipment orders or fabricates replacement parts.
- Complete test-runs on repaired machinery and equipment to verify adequacy of repairs.
- Records repairs, maintenance performed and machine maintenance information utilizing the Computerized Maintenance Management System.
- Maintain a cooperative relationship with those contacted in the course of work activities.
- Adhere to all Safety Policies and always wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
About You:
Your Education & Experience:
- Associates degree in Electronics, General Technology, or related field and 2+ years industrial maintenance experience.
- Must be proficient in the following areas: Electrical, PLC, Mechanical, Hydraulics, Pneumatics.

Pay: $33.00 - $43.00 per hour
