- This position is hybrid. Candidates must be based in Maryland, Washington, DC, Virginia, or West Virginia. There will be collaborative sessions onsite in Washington, DC roughly once or twice per month.

Our client is seeking a Senior Salesforce Quality Assurance Engineer to join a team responsible for automation and performance monitoring activities pertaining to Salesforce and Cloud. As a Senior Salesforce Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of applications based on the Salesforce platform. Your expertise in technical analysis, automated testing, and deep understanding of complex enterprise systems will be critical to success. The specific application of focus will be a Conversational AI/Chatbot tool that will assist internal Customer Service Representatives and external Customers. Responsibilities
- Conduct deep technical analysis/testing of release in plan to conduct validation and verification of entire application.
- Participate in Business Requirements reviews and work with systems analysts/developers to fully test application changes.
- Understand the functional specification and scope of releases to design robust testing harness to ensure the quality delivery
- Write complex SQL queries for retrieval of required from multi-database environment. (Strong knowledge of Oracle database required).
- Apply expert systems analysis and design techniques to complex enterprise systems
- Work closely with the Product Owners, developers, and stakeholders to understand product specifics and to create corresponding test strategies.
- Execute manual testing on frontend (UI) and backend (API) systems.
- Develop and maintain testing suites for a large-scale Salesforce environment.
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline and 5+ years of automation testing experience with a strong background with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.).
- Experience with IVR and/or Conversational AI/Chatbot tools.
- 3+ years of Salesforce testing experience.
- 3+ years of experience in Behavior Driven Development (BDD).
- 3+ years of experience using Selenium, Kafka, Playwright, or similar automation testing tools.
- 3+ years of relational database experience including generating complex queries, setting up database connections, and automating query processing.
- 3+ years of experience using SQL.
- 2+ years of experience in API testing.
- Detailed knowledge of Healthcare Payor experience and CRM application in Service/Operational space.
- Experience using Agile collaboration and requirements management tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong aptitude to learn and adapt to technology.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Any Salesforce certification.
