As the Will Leather Goods Order Picking/Shipping/Show Associate, you will be responsible for various tasks related to order processing, including order picking, shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, show stock, RA’s and embossing leather products. Your attention to detail, organization, and commitment to delivering exceptional customer service will contribute to the smooth and efficient operation of the business. You will work closely with other team members to ensure accurate and timely processing of orders, while maintaining the high-quality standards associated with our brand.
Order Picking:
-Retrieve merchandise from designated storage areas based on order requirements.
-Accurately pick items by matching product codes and descriptions.
-Ensure proper handling and packaging of products to prevent damage during transit.
Shipping:
-Prepare orders for shipment by verifying contents, packaging Will product appropriately, and labeling/pricing accurately.
-Generate shipping labels and documentation using the ship station software.
-Ensure compliance with shipping regulations and requirements.
Receiving:
-Work with Lead on receiving incoming shipments, inspect packages for damage, and verify the accuracy of contents.
-Work with Lead on Organization of received products in designated storage area and put into stock.
Order Fulfillment:
-Assist in order fulfillment tasks, including preparing merchandise for shipping, packaging, and labeling.
-Collaborate with the sales team to ensure order accuracy and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
-Maintain inventory accuracy by performing regular stock checks and reporting any discrepancies.
Leather Embossing:
-Utilize embossing equipment and techniques to add custom designs, monograms, or personalization’s to leather products.
-Follow design specifications and ensure accurate embossing according to customer requests.
-Monitor equipment performance and report any malfunctions or maintenance needs.
Quality Control:
-Conduct quality checks on products to ensure they meet the brand's standards.
-Identify and report any product defects, damages, or inconsistencies.
General Support:
-Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
-Support other areas of the business, such as inventory management, as needed.
Requirements:
-High school diploma or equivalent
-Previous experience in order picking, shipping, receiving, or a similar role is preferred.
-Familiarity with leather products and craftsmanship is preferred
-Proficient computer skills, including experience with AIMS software and inventory systems.
-Strong attention to detail and the ability to accurately follow instructions.
-Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
-Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and provide exceptional customer service.
-Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy packages when necessary.
-Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.50 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
