Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in desktop support, IT support, and computer hardware, with knowledge of SCCM, TCP, VPN, Linux, Firewall, ServiceNow, Office applications, and more.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for desktop hardware and software issues
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop systems and applications
- Set up and maintain user accounts and profiles
- Ensure security measures are in place on all desktop systems
- Collaborate with the IT team to resolve complex technical issues
- Document all support activities accurately in the ticketing system
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in desktop support and IT support roles
- Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues
- Knowledge of SCCM for software deployment and updates
- Familiarity with TCP/IP networking protocols and VPN technologies
- Experience with Linux operating systems is a plus
- Understanding of Firewall configurations and best practices
- Working knowledge of ServiceNow or similar IT service management tools
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
