Types of Projects:
- Commercial - Factories, Facilities, Parking Garages
- Municipal - Historical Restoration, Town Halls, Schools, Police and Fire Department, Retail spaces
- Private- Churches, Residential, Historical Restoration
The Successful candidate should be able to
- Understand the full scope of all projects to deliver the appropriate results;
- Manage projects so they are completed on time, under budget, and to customers' satisfaction; Track, document, and forward any additional work requests to ensure they are invoiced;
- Attend project meetings with clients and other trades to coordinate smooth workflow;
- Ensure all employees and projects are working in a safe manner;
- Take full ownership of your projects to be sure they are managed well from start to finish;
- Ensure all materials and equipment are available to keep projects on track;
- Coordinate the return of equipment and materials after projects are complete; Review and approve project invoices;
- Oversee and maintain Scholar Painting and Restoration's work quality and safety expectations
- Complete take offs and proposals to customers for multiple projects.
Successful candidate must have 3 years plus commercial construction experience running and scheduling manpower for various coating projects. OSHA30 certification is preferred. Lead Safety Awareness Certification required. Must be able to read prints, problem solve and work independently, as well work on a team. Candidate must be organized, reliable and punctual, able to work at multiple job sites throughout Connecticut, NY, MA and RI. Candidate will work directly with other senior project managers to put together proposals and submittals, as well as with owners and general contractors. Ideal candidate will have past experience on municipality and state projects. Candidate will work daily on scheduling and managing sub contractors and vendors. Past experience in high performance coating field a must. Reliable transportation required.
