The Human Resources Manager is responsible for managing and implementing human resources policies and programs for the employee lifecycle across the organization and multiple locations. This role champions our culture while working to attract, develop, and retain the best people, leads the day-to-day administration, and guides HR team members in the high touch, high impact delivery of services.
The Human Resources Manager partners with the Human Resources Director, firm management, and employees in all phases of human resource activities to understand and execute the organization’s strategies particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning. This position has responsibilities and engagement in the following functional areas: Recruitment, Benefits Administration, HRIS Management and Record Keeping, Employee Relations, Training and Development, Onboarding, and various other employee support services.
Deliver Results
- Lead, participate, and support, talent management, including recruiting and sourcing candidates, onboarding employees, and the development of educational opportunities, both internal and external to the organization.
- Manage multi location and hybrid workplace communication and policies, integration across the organization, and alignment with employee experience strategies.
- Support and engage in the development of team members and participate in training and LMS implementation and management. Create learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees.
- Provide first line coaching and guidance to employees, including both routine and complex issues such as employee policies, as well employee relation matters, etc., Innovate processes with new technology; utilize and implement software applications, including refinement of HRIS and company intranet.
- Establish, develop, track and analyze key data, metrics, dashboards, reports, and presentations to identify trends, opportunities for improvements and implement action plans to enhance the employee and manager experience.
- Actively lead and participate firm culture committees, events, and activities, providing direction, support, and insight.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners such as HR, Finance, Marketing & Communications, consultants, and legal counsel to support overall employee experience.
- Occasional travel to additional locations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- 10+ years in supporting Talent and Human Resources strategies and delivery.
- Knowledge of all pertinent federal and state regulations regarding hiring and employment including Affirmative Action and EEO.
- Proficiency in technology platforms and software.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or SHRM Certified Professional (CP) designation.
- Previous experience in an architecture, engineering, construction, or related professional service firm.
- Experience in a multiple office firm environment.
- Experience with applications such as Mentimeter, Handshake, SurveyMonkey, etc.
