Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, developing key client relationships and gaining additonal loyal accounts and clients through proactive direct sales calls.
Duties:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals
- Meet and exceed sales targets
- Identify new business opportunities and drive growth in existing accounts
- Negotiate contracts and close agreements with customers
- Analyze sales data and trends to provide insights for decision-making
- Utilize Delphi and other CRM software to track sales activities
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain strong client relationships
- Oversee account management activities to ensure customer satisfaction
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities
Experience:
- Proven experience in sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
- Strong background in outside sales and account management
- Previous Marriott sales experience a definite plus!
- Ability to analyze data and draw actionable insights for sales strategies
- Proficiency in Salesforce or other CRM tools for sales tracking
- Excellent negotiation skills and customer service orientation
- Past experience in a convention market ideal
