Job Description: IT Director will be responsible for overseeing our all aspects of our information technology infrastructure and operations, ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of our systems and networks. The IT Director will be responsible for overseeing our partnership with a Managed Services Provider (MSP) and technology vendors used across the Firm. The IT Director will play a key role in training and ensuring that our employees have the knowledge and skills required to leverage technology effectively to support our business objectives and deliver exceptional service to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
· Ensure high-quality technology experience for employees and clients, including software utilization and navigation, online portal and mobile experience, etc.
· Maximize return on technology investments by configuring, integrating, deploying and optimizing Wealth Management application/data solutions to improve efficiency, effectiveness and control.
· Define and steward the IT vision and strategy to migrate to a more consistent and simplified technology stack overtime, including business development, CRM, financial planning, portfolio management/reporting, custodian platforms, etc.
· Manage relationships with external application software and data service providers, aligning objectives, negotiating contracts, and ensuring optimal performance.
· Provide hands-on support to staff members during system implementation and offer ongoing training and guidance.
· Develop comprehensive training materials and deliver engaging sessions to facilitate the adoption of vendor systems.
· Stay current on emerging technologies and software releases to ensure the application, data and training environments are up to date. Explore and introduce new innovations based on cost/benefit.
· Serve as the primary liaison between the company and its Managed Services Provider (MSP) to maintain the firm's IT infrastructure, network, hardware/software, Help Desk, incident management and resolution.
· Work with MSP to oversee all cybersecurity risks, measures, documentation, and compliance with IT policies.
· Work with MSP to ensure seamless onboarding of new employees and new technologies.
· Work with the backend of systems to customize or extract underlying data / logic, with an emphasis on straight-through-processing.
· Collaborate with Data Science teams within the ownership organization to ingest data and implement analytical solutions.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
· 5-10 years of proven IT management experience, with a focus on delivering, optimizing, and managing technology solutions in Wealth Management.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
· Creative problem-solving abilities and a passion for facilitating others' success in utilizing technology. Analytical and solution-oriented, with a track record of timely resolution of complex technical issues.
· Knowledgeable about regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices in IT training and user support.
· Ability to thrive independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.
· Strong technical expertise spanning infrastructure, networking, security, and cloud technologies.
· Experience with data management and analytics (Data Lakes, OLAP, ETL, AI/MI, etc.)
· Demonstrated proficiency in cybersecurity best and regulatory compliance.
· Skilled in managing vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, and driving performance improvements.
· Experienced in project management, ensuring successful project delivery within budget and timeline constraints.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
