HOLT Crane and Equipment is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician for our Georgetown location to support customers in the surrounding areas.
HOLT Crane & Equipment is the authorized Link-Belt crane dealer for Central, North, East and parts of Southwest Texas. In addition, HOLT covers territory in Southern New Mexico. HOLT has facilities in Houston, Dallas and San Antonio.
Job Description :
This position is responsible for performing safe, professional, high-quality, and timely inspections, diagnosis, repair, loading/unloading, make-ready, and maneuvering of cranes and related equipment primarily in a field environment. Work will be performed alone or in teams to provide high-quality mechanical services that meet customers’ needs and achieve organizational and departmental objectives.
Qualifications:
A qualified candidate must have the following skills or abilities:
- Troubleshoot and perform complex Link-Belt crane repairs correctly in the field.
- 7 years of field or shop service tech troubleshooting and repair skills of cranes, mobile cranes, crawlers, rough terrain cranes, and, hydraulic cranes. (Link-Belt Crane experiences highly desired.)
- Must have own tools.
- Must build strong customer service relations.
- Ability to be productive by working efficiently and effectively with a high energy level.
- Ability to work with limited supervision.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Must have a safe driving record
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOT Physical
