Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
- Enter orders into the POS system and process payments through the cash register
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction throughout their dining experience
- Upsell menu items and promote daily features to increase sales
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of food orders
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dining area, including tables, chairs, and floors
- Assist with food preparation, handling, and service as needed
- Have vast knowledge of menu in order to answer all customer inquiries
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of the food industry and restaurant operations
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively
- Proficiency in using a cash register for processing payments
- Ability to upsell menu items to increase sales revenue
- Familiarity with reservation systems like OpenTable is a plus
- Knowledge of food preparation, handling, and service best practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and attention to detail
