The IT Development Manager position is to lead a team in the development, implementation and maintenance of business and technical systems. This role is accountable for the evaluation and implementation of standards and procedures, which support the enterprise's application infrastructure. The manager directs developers involved in the analysis, design and development of large scale applications. Interacts directly with the client and support team members across the IT organization. Ensures projects/programs are completed within the committed time and budget and are integrated with other software applications.
- This role at Climate Pros is a hybrid position, requiring the incumbent to be present in one of our offices for 2-3 days per week. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop, manage and prepare best software development team.
- Guide, coach and mentor software development engineers.
- Provide project management and technical leadership for every aspect of software.
- Develop relations with internal customers to interpret all requirements.
- Supervise resource allocation to assure attainment of apt business and personnel development goals.
- Manage and execute software development projects from beginning to finish.
- Evaluate projects, develop and update schedules plus supervise project status.
- Collaborate effectively with all team members as well as hold regular team meetings.

Desired Skills, Certifications, and Education:
- Superior experience in both desktop and web based software development leveraging newer trends.
- Experience with specific phases of the software development life cycle including requirements gathering, requirements analysis, design, development, and test.
- Expert understanding of programming theory, object-oriented analysis and design, design patterns, etc.
- Possess clear understanding of SDLC and other industry standard development practices
- Experience in application development, multiple major project delivering of med-large scale projects/programs.
- Be an honest team player, growth-oriented, and able to do whatever it takes safely!
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
Regularly required to sit, stand, and walk; occasionally lift and move up to 25 pounds; noise level is usually moderate. All employees may be required to visit a customer site and complete a ride along with a field technician.
