We are partnering with an excellent client in the automotive industry to identify a Manufacturing Systems (MES) Engineer or a Senior level MES Engineer for their team. This role is integral to the plant's success and growth into the next generation of manufacturing efficiency. This position is for the 1st Shift and is fully onsite, Monday through Friday.
What You Will Be Doing
- Supporting all aspects of the plant's MES within their JIT environment during the 2nd shift; serving as the MES Subject Matter Expert throughout the plant floor
- Handling any necessary development, modifications, debugging, and troubleshooting for the MES
- Monitoring the MES and ensuring successful process execution daily through plant floor walkthroughs
- Designing, configuring, and implementing all needed MES functions for any new products, process changes, and beyond
- Creating and modifying SQL queries and stored procedures to create reports and functions to be utilized throughout the plant
What We Need From You
To be considered for this role, candidates must have the following experience and skills:
- 1-3 years of hands-on experience with MES in a Just-In-Time (JIT) automotive manufacturing Environment
- Microsoft SQL Proficiency
- Allen Bradley PLC Proficiency
All-Star Skillset
The ideal candidate will also have any or all of the following preferred experience and skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or similar studies
- Experience with development, programming, and/or debugging
- Experience with VB.Net, C#, C++, and/or additional programming languages
