Position: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
Locations:
- Florida: Clearwater, Largo, Seminole, St. Petersburg (Pinellas County)
Work Hours:
- Flexible scheduling with daytime, early afternoon, and evening shifts
Role and Impact: As an RBT at EBC, you will:
- Serve diverse populations from birth to young adulthood, fostering their ability to thrive.
- Provide individualized, high-quality services to clients and their support networks.
- Apply ABA principles to create impactful learning experiences, skill acquisition, and behavior reduction.
- Implement comprehensive behavior plans alongside clients, families, and educational teams.
- Conduct initial, ongoing, and post assessments and ABA therapy in various settings, equipping clients with essential social skills.
- Provide direct therapy services in home, school, center, and community settings.
- Help individuals with autism live happier, more independent lives.
Core Responsibilities:
- Assist in functional behavior assessments.
- Implement and monitor tailored behavior and treatment plans.
- Conduct skill assessments (e.g., ABLLs-R, AFLS's, VB-MAPP).
- Deliver direct one-on-one instructional support.
- Document and report progress.
Qualifications:
- Registered Behavior Technician in good standing with the Behavior Analysis Certification Board
- minimum 1 year of paid experience as an RBT
- Understanding of Verbal Behavior
- We will provide you with the opportunity to obtain a FL Medicaid Provider number.
- Preferred: Experience with children with developmental disabilities.
- Preferred: Experience as an RBT or BT.
- Preferred: Experience with individuals diagnosed with Autism.
