· Keep work stations, machinery & materials clean & safe.
· Source proper materials for shipping of product based on MIS Planning & Prod Specifications & job related information.
· Determine shipping service requirements needed per MIS Prod Spec information.
· Determine and print all needed paperwork needed for type of job and to properly complete all documentation as required.
· Follow all procedures and directions (verbal or written) required.
· Oversee shipping process. Select proper packing materials / equipment to be used.
· Delegate duties. Evaluate and provide performance feedback to Shipping Clerk.
· Pull job bag and verify purchase order.
· Verify ship to information and product quantity.
· Generate shipping data sheet and roll correlation sheet.
· Create core label and box top label pursuant to customer specifications.
· Package product according to customer specifications.
· For pharmaceutical jobs, perform line clearance prior to packaging product.
· Palletize product and Create packing slip.
· Create paperwork required for customs clearance on international shipments.
· Call truck line to coordinate pick up.
· Log shipping information into MIS system.
· Submit paperwork to Accountant for invoice generation.
· Return job bag to Quality Assurance.
· Log SETUP, RUN, & CLEAR time for job processing into SFDC and machinery logs.
· Training of other co-workers as needed for production demands.
· Other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by Lead/Supervisor/Manager.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee could be exposed to fumes or airborne particles and print chemicals involved in a printing environment. The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Physical Demands
The following physical qualifications must be met to perform the essential functions of this job:
Ability to bend, reach, crawl, twist and lift at least 50 pounds unassisted is required. The ability to remain in a standing or seated position for long periods of time is required. The ability to see, hear, count, read and follow verbal directives in English is required. The ability to differentiate colors, horizontal and vertical positions is required. The ability to perform repetitive upper body motions is required. Color vision and peripheral vision.
Position Type / Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Flexibility with hours and work overtime as needed.
Required Education/Experience
Experience in managing subordinates.
Basic PC knowledge is required.
High School Diploma
Preferred Education and Experience
At least eighteen months’ previous shipping experience is preferred.
Experience operating a pallet jack, fork truck, and guillotine machine is preferred.
