Position: Farm Hand/Equipment Operator
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain sprayers, spreaders, and other agricultural equipment for precise application of fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides.
- Calibrate equipment to ensure accurate product application rates and uniform distribution.
- Read and interpret application maps, work orders, and safety labels to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on application equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and environmental regulations to minimize risks to personnel and the environment.
- Keep detailed records of application activities, including product types, rates, areas treated, and weather conditions.
- Communicate effectively with customers, providing information and advice on product usage and application techniques.
- Assist with inventory management, including loading and unloading products and supplies.
- Monitor field conditions, identifying potential issues such as pest infestations or nutrient deficiencies.

Are You Qualified?
- Able to work overtime and occasional weekends.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Must be willing and able to maintain a Class A CDL and appropriate endorsements (with our assistance).
- Must be willing to submit to a DOT drug test and background.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $65,000.00 per year
