Help Desk Specialist:
What You Must Have::
- Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
- 1 years’ experience in a related field or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
- Works under close direction of senior personnel in the functional area
- Possesses a moderate understanding of the Information Technology environment
- Must have excellent customer service, communication, and documentation skills
- Must maintain timely, predictable, consistent attendance and is flexible to meet the needs of the department

What You Will Do::
- Provides exceptional customer service in a friendly and timely manner to all internal and external customers
- Responds to end-user requests for technical assistance by phone, email or ticketing system
- Troubleshoot and resolves computer hardware, application, system, device, access or performance issues
- Installs and configures computer hardware, peripherals and software as needed
- Troubleshoot network and internet connectivity issues
- Printer installation, configuration and troubleshooting
- Use established processes and procedures to document, track, and resolve reported problems
- Advises users on the methods, steps and actions to resolve and avoid future issues and provides documentation as needed
- Escalates problems to appropriate levels or teams to achieve issues resolution
- Create, delete, and modify user accounts using various systems such as Active Directory, Office365 and others
- Set up and configure new computers, laptops and mobile devices
- Fulfills all service level standards for response time and quality
- Adhere to a Monday through Friday work week with rotating on-call schedule
- Maintain compliance with internal annual education requirements
- Conduct all business activities in a professional and ethical manner
- Ability to travel up to 20% as needed
- Maintain scheduling flexibility to meet the needs of the department for all hours of operation
- Participate in education programs and in-house meetings on product information and new procedures
- Timely submission of all documentation
