Introduction:
The Engineering Technical Services Department of NATEC provides Contractor Engineering Technical Services (CETS) support to Naval Aviation weapons systems throughout their sustainment life-cycle. In addition to aircraft programs, NATEC is responsible for CETS services in support of all associated systems and equipment. The objective of CETS is to develop the technical skills and abilities of Navy and Marine Corps military and civilian personnel who are responsible for the operation and maintenance of their assigned aviation weapon system/program.
Affordable Engineering Services, Inc. is looking for a CETS Technical Representative that specializes on EA-18G Growler Airframes / Structures for NAS Whidbey Island, the primary function of this position CETS Tech Rep, is to provided various Fleet shore activities (Squadrons) assistance and training military and civilian personnel to be proficient in the installation, operation, and maintenance of Aircraft systems. Additionally, these CETS Tech Rep will provide technical guidance and advice to resolve unusually complex technical problems.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Must be a High School Graduate
- Must be willing and able to travel as needed in the performance of the Technical representative role.
- Must have a valid Driver’s License.
- Must maintain a valid US Passport
- Must be able to obtain and maintain an Active Secret Clearance
- Must be able to meet physical requirements associated with and / or pass any medical examination requirements related to performing daily assigned task.
- Must past pre-employment background check.
- Must past pre-employment and post-employment drug testing.
- Must have training in Navy “A” and “C” school on applicable type model series or civilian equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on technical experience on the specific specialty.
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience related to the job description stated above.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Active Secret Clearance
- Must have proficiency in ALQ-99 and associated EW
- Primary Military Occupational Skill on EA-18G Growler Airframes / Structures
- Experience in any or a combination of the following work centers, Quality Assurance, Avionics Division, Maintenance Control, Primary MOS school house or follow on training Instructor.
- Must have 15-18 years of aviation maintenance experience on EA-18G Growler Airframes / Structures.
