Overview:
We are seeking one Journeyworker Electrician to join our team and become certified to install Electric Vehicle Charging Stations (EVCS) with us. The ideal candidate will have an interest in EV Charging Station Installations (Electrification in general), be eager to work with a startup company positioning to become a leader in charging station installs, and potentially train/mentor an apprentice new to the electrical field.
We will train and certify you, via online and in-person content, how to site assess, load calculate, perform site preparation, install, network and commission EVCS for both residential and commercial clients. During your 26-week training period, you will learn about the past, the current cutting edge, and the future of EVs and the Charging Technology that accompanies these vehicles.
Duties:
- Learn to install/ configure electrical systems, including branch circuits and utilization devices like electrical vehicle charging stations
- Learn to perform maintenance and repairs or upgrades on existing electrical systems to support EVCS installations
- Learn to troubleshoot and implement installation issues and provide potential solutions to install challenges
- Learn the basics of charger installs and how to ensure electrical systems meet manufacturer requirements
-Gain training on charger network installations and charger commissioning processes

- Perform high quality work as a priority
- Ability to work in attics, crawl spaces, and in all outdoor climates
- Must climb ladders, work at various heights, and carry up to 50 lbs.
Journeyworker Qualifications:
- Mechanical knowledge for electrical systems and equipment installation
- Stay current and in compliance with the National Electric Code (NEC)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication skills
- Driver's license, clean driving record, and viable transportation
- TDLR Journeyworker License
- High interest in EVSE, Renewables and Electrification installation projects.
