Job description:
Title Resources is seeking a Legal Assistant-Claims. Two (2) positions are available. Both positions work under the direction and supervision of licensed attorneys. One position is remote-eligible on a full-time basis. For the second position, there is a preference for the successful candidate to reside in the Dallas/Fort Worth metropolitan area wherein the role will require the candidate to work certain dates and hours on-site, while the remaining hours can be completed remotely. The responsibilities of both positions include:

Initial evaluation and opening of new claims received.

Set claim reserves as directed.

Prepare correspondence as directed.

Prepare various claim reports as directed.

Receive, review and process Claims Department invoices.

Provide data and documentation for internal auditors and external regulators.

Receiving and handling telephone calls and written communications from claimants, attorneys, and agents pertaining to title claims.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required, with a strong preference for an individual holding an American Bar Association approved Paralegal Certificate.

Minimum of two years of prior experience as a legal assistant.

Prior title and/or escrow claims experience and/or civil litigation experience a plus.

Analytical skills and strong attention to detail.

Must possess excellent customer service skills.

Advanced computer and Microsoft Office skills.

Effective organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills.
