The Role
I-Net is hiring a Senior Network Administrator to support existing clients and help drive business growth. We are seeking an IT professional interested in being part of a dynamic team, who is able to handle multiple concurrent projects. The successful candidate has a desire to continue to grow their knowledge and skills through ongoing technical training, certification, and hands on experience. The Senior Network Administrator will report to I-Net’s Chief Executive Officer and Founder.
What You’ll Do
The Senior Network Administrator will work with a variety of clients, providing day-to-day support as well work on project driven tasks. The successful candidate will perform functions including, but not limited to, the following:
· Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, servers, cloud services, printers, wireless access points);
· Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations.
· Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
· Monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning.
· Provide Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues.
· Maintain project plans and documentation of all system builds and updates.
· Research, identify, and evaluate new products and services within the IT field.
· Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure.
· Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution including coordinating warranty repair and shipment of spares to locations around the state.
· Keep abreast of trends and changing technologies as they relate to IT and Network Engineering and engages in continuous process improvement.
What You’ll Need
· Bachelor's Degree or four (4) years relevant experience in the Information Technology field.
· Self-starter, able to effectively troubleshoot, triage issues, problem solve independently, and escalate when necessary.
· Technical skills:
- Microsoft or other Network Certifications (MCSE, MCSA, CCNA, CNA, Net+, A+, etc), or willingness to obtain within 6 months of employment
- Microsoft virtualization technologies and Parallels/Remote Desktop
- Windows 10/11, Windows Server 2012-2019 proficiency
- Strong background in design, installation, configuration, and problem analysis of Microsoft products including Active Directory/DNS/DHCP and Hyper-V
- Experience with cloud services such Office 365, Google Apps, and Azure
- Experience with Watchguard firewall/VPN products and certification
· Strong active listening skills – our clients come first, and we need to understand what they’re asking for.
· Strong oral and written communication skills to effectively interact with the I-Net team, clients, vendors, and consultants.
· Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects concurrently, including working with other I-Net team members.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
