Job Summary:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Community Outreach and Partnerships Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying potential referral sources within the surrounding community, establishing and maintaining either formal or informal referral relationships with these entities, and developing strategic partnerships to enhance our clinic's referral network.
Our Ideal Candidate:
- Has experience in mental health settings, either outpatient clinics, college counselling centers, or nonprofits that is familiar with the field.
- Is self-starting and driven, able to take the task and run with it.
- Is familiar with Southern California and its resources, with a passion for mental health advocacy and community services.
- Able to work independently
Responsibilities:
- Identify potential referral sources such as nonprofits, educational institutions, healthcare providers, and community organizations that align with our clinic’s mission and services.
- Initiate contact with potential referral partners through various communication channels to introduce our clinic’s services and discuss potential partnership opportunities.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing referral partners by conducting regular follow-up, providing updates on services, and addressing any concerns or questions.
- Organize and attend community outreach events to promote the clinic’s services, network with potential referral sources, and increase community awareness of mental health issues.
- Collaborate with clinic staff to understand service offerings, identify referral needs, and ensure a seamless referral process for partners and clients.
- Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of referral partnerships, providing regular reports to clinic management on partnership activities, outcomes, and areas for improvement.
- Stay informed about local community needs, mental health trends, and potential partnership opportunities to continuously expand and enhance the clinic’s referral network.

- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with diverse populations
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organizational abilities with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications
