Position Overview: Triage Technician will be responsible for triaging incoming patient phone calls to determine necessity for medical appointments, prescription refills, and discussing test results. Also gathers all necessary and pertinent information regarding medical problems and symptoms to discuss with the physician. Ensures all necessary calls and messages are handled in an expedient manner. Will operate with compassion, excellent customer service, and efficiently to ensure patients are receiving quality care.

Recent Telephone triage nursing experience required, preferably within a physician office setting Nursing experience within an outpatient physician office setting is a plus Excellent customer service skills required Demonstrate ability to set priorities. Good problem solving skills required.
Internal candidates must be employed for a minimum of six consecutive months to be eligible to apply.
