HHM Talent, on behalf of our client, is assisting in the search for a strong payroll administrator.
This position is on-site in Hammond, Louisiana.
This position will run payroll for over 300 employees and will be in charge of the process start to finish. Some HR experience is required, SHRM and dealership experience is preferred.
Duties:
- Process payroll for employees accurately and in a timely manner for Weekly/Semi-Monthly/Monthly runs.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations
- Maintain employee records and ensure data integrity in payroll systems
- Manage and Administer employee benefit programs
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters
- Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve any discrepancies
- Generate reports on payroll expenses, taxes, and deductions
- Assist with year-end payroll activities, including W-2 processing
Skills
- Proficient in data entry and attention to detail to ensure accuracy in payroll processing
- Experience with payroll, HR, and Dealertrack
- Familiarity with general ledger accounting and journal entries
- Excellent Communication Skills Verbal/Written
- Proficient in all Microsoft Programs
- 3+ Years Payroll Experience

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
