To support the Director of Merchandising with facilitating communication between the Division, Corporate Purchasing, Community Affairs, Customer Service and Marketing/Advertising and all Fresh RBUs. This position is also responsible for assisting with communication with all in regards to service and products and Retail Coordinators (RCs) in regards to programs and products. Responsible for collecting and compiling data for weekly and monthly reporting, scheduling and coordinating logistics of on and offsite meetings (for Publix team as well as retail vendors)with retail vendors) and communicating with and assisting retail vendors.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Assisting with various ads (Weekly, Grand Opening, response to competition) and related items (such as promotion management)
- Working with vendors
- Creating spreadsheets and presentations
- Creating spreadsheets and presentations as requested by the DOM
- Assisting with supporting/facilitating communication between Retail and the RBU, and
- Assisting customers when they call about not being able to find products in our stores.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Six months of administrative experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Computer skills
- Ability to work flexible schedule

To reward associates for their contributions to the company for the calendar year, Publix provides a Holiday Bonus in November. In the first year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to 15 hours of pay, and in the second year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to one week’s pay if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check.
