Job Summary:
Our client is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Technical Proposal Writer to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, exceptional writing skills, and a proven track record in creating compelling proposals for complex projects. This role requires the ability to translate technical concepts into clear, persuasive content that effectively communicates the value of our client’s solutions to potential clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proposal Development:
- Lead the development of high-quality technical proposals in response to RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, and other solicitation types.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, project managers, and business development personnel, to gather necessary information and insights.
- Ensure proposals are compliant with client requirements and company standards.
- Content Creation:
- Write, edit, and proofread proposal sections, including executive summaries, technical approaches, management plans, resumes, and past performance sections.
- Develop content that clearly articulates the technical solutions, methodologies, and benefits of the proposed approach.
- Project Management:
- Manage multiple proposal projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality submissions.
- Coordinate and facilitate proposal review meetings and progress updates with stakeholders.
- Strategic Contribution:
- Contribute to the development and implementation of proposal strategies and win themes.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and competitive intelligence to enhance proposal content.
- Quality Assurance:
- Perform thorough reviews and quality checks on all proposal documents to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
- Implement feedback from review teams to improve proposal content and format.
- Templates and Tools:
- Maintain and update proposal templates, boilerplate content, and reusable components.
- Utilize proposal management tools and software to streamline the proposal development process.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or in a related field preferred.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in technical proposal writing, preferably within the public sector.
- Proven track record of successfully leading and winning technical proposals for complex projects.
- Skills:
- Exceptional technical writing and editing skills.
- Strong understanding of technical concepts and the ability to translate them into compelling content.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat Professional, Microsoft SharePoint, and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign).
- Excellent organizational, project management, and time management skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
