The role of a Construction Project Manager requires both technical and people skills that allow them to manage the process of delivering a desired product on time and on budget. Clear communication with both internal and external parties are critical to ensure expectations are understood and information flows smooth. REQUIREMENTS:
- Work with Sales and Account Manager to understand the scope, specifications, and scheduled of major medical projects
- Communicate with general contractors to complete upfront scope of project information and sampling
- Manage and assist Purchasing in successful coordination with vendors for buyout items
- Manage submittal drawing process with contractors and architects
- Coordinate phasing of project to match General Contractors schedule
- Keep in-house Project Management systems updated and on track with critical dates
- Coordinate with Site Coordinators to ensure field measurements are implemented in final production drawings
- Keep project on track within company lead time guidelines
- Provide updates on a weekly basis of critical issues pertinent to projects
- Travel to jobsite for personal relationship development and critical information gathering (>10% travel expected)
- Management deliveries and install with Logistics and subcontracted install teams
- Manage critical delivery dates to meet expectations of General Contractor
- Manage contract documents to insure timely Change Order execution
- Partner with Business Admin team to review and compile monthly pay applications
- Have working experience with Microsoft Office software
