Job Summary:
The KIA Service Cashier at Hyman Brothers Auto Group is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to all KIA customers by accurately processing payments for service repairs and providing accurate and timely communication regarding service transactions. This position requires strong communication and organizational skills and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. The KIA Service Cashier will report to the Service Manager and work closely with the service advisors, technicians, and other service team members. This full-time, individual contributor role has a competitive salary and benefits.

Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Accurately process payments for service repairs and maintain cash drawers
- Follow up with customers to inform them of the status of their vehicles
- Handle customer inquiries, requests, and complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain and update customer records and service history
- Monitor and maintain the customer lounge and reception area to ensure a clean and comfortable environment
- Assist with scheduling service appointments and coordinating rental vehicles
- Prepare and submit daily reports and reconcile cash drawers
- Collaborate with the service team to ensure customer satisfaction and efficient workflow
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education or training preferred
- Customer service experience in the automotive industry preferred
- Strong math and computer skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge of automotive systems and repairs preferred
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
