Administrative Assistant:
We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to support our sales team in their day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and possess strong organizational and communication skills. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our sales processes, including managing schedules, handling data entry tasks, preparing proposals and presentations, and coordinating logistics for client meetings and tradeshows.
Duties and Responsibilities:
This position reports to the Area Sales Manager(s), with the following tasks and job functions for Behrens and Associates, Inc. Environmental Noise Control:
Responsibilities:
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for sales team members.
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, maintaining and updating records in Salesforce and ERP systems.
- Assist in the preparation of sales proposals, presentations, and other documents as needed.
- Coordinate catering and logistics for client meetings, including ordering lunches and arranging necessary accommodations.
- Manage all aspects of tradeshow participation, including maintaining the tradeshow calendar, meeting deadlines for registrations, and coordinating logistics for staff attendance.
- Provide general administrative support to the sales team, including answering phones, responding to emails, and handling other clerical tasks as needed.
- Conduct competitive research as well as keep-up-to date on industry trends
- Assist sales team in maintaining regular cadence of communication with customers and prospects
- Research new opportunities and contacts using project bid sites
- Other duties and special projects as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in an administrative support role, preferably in a sales or customer-facing environment
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Business
- Proficient in Excel, Power Point and Word
- Proficiency in Salesforce and ERP systems, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software platforms.
- Strong attention to detail, well-organized
- Dexterity to quickly change from one project to the next without missing a beat
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
- Proactive attitude and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Team player and collaborator, with a belief in the importance of transparency and communication
- Strong can-do attitude to jump in on projects as needed outside of scope of work

Physical requirements
The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands: some lifting or carrying and significant fine finger dexterity. Generally, the job requires 60% sitting, 20% walking, and 20% standing.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
