Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join our team as an HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) Apprentice. As an HVAC Apprentice, you will work alongside experienced technicians to learn the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in the HVAC industry. This is an entry-level position ideal for individuals who are passionate about working with their hands, solving problems, and providing exceptional service to customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Experienced Technicians: Work closely with seasoned HVAC technicians to learn the ins and outs of HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair procedures.
- Perform Basic Tasks: Assist in basic HVAC tasks such as equipment installation, ductwork assembly, system troubleshooting, and component replacement under supervision.
- Learn Safety Protocols: Understand and adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team members.
- Develop Technical Skills: Gain hands-on experience with various HVAC tools, equipment, and technologies to develop proficiency in system diagnosis, repair techniques, and maintenance procedures.
- Customer Interaction: Interact professionally with customers, providing assistance as needed and representing the company in a positive manner.
- Documentation: Assist in maintaining accurate records of work performed, including service reports, equipment logs, and inventory documentation.
- Continuous Learning: Actively participate in training programs and educational opportunities provided by the company to enhance your knowledge and skills in the HVAC field.
Requirements:
- Educational Background: High school diploma or equivalent. Enrollment in or completion of a vocational program in HVAC or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Mechanical Aptitude: Strong interest and aptitude for working with mechanical systems and tools.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy equipment, climbing ladders, and working in various weather conditions.
- Team Player: Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and a willingness to learn new concepts and techniques.
- Driver's License: A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are preferred.
- Safety Conscious: Commitment to adhering to all safety guidelines and protocols.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour
