Job Title: Parking Manager
Our commercial real estate company is currently searching for a Parking Manager for our parking lots located in the downtown San Antonio area. We are looking for a candidate to fill our position as soon as possible. This job is Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week. Free valet parking is included with employment.
Job Summary:
The Parking Manager plans, organizes, directs, oversees, and manages the day-to-day operations, enforcement, and collections for the parking lots and garage owned by the company. This position is responsible for overseeing the management and operation of the parking lots and garage, coordinating with vendors, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining excellent customer service. The Parking Manager is also responsible for developing short & long-term plans, strategies, and solutions regarding parking. This position requires the employee to be indoors and outdoors as needed. Must be comfortable driving an electric GEM (golfcart) type vehicle.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage parking vendors and payment software
- Track & review tenant validation usage and monthly parking passes
- Add/Remove monthly parkers as needed
- Prepare and update monthly parking list
- Review Text to pay transactions/disputes
- Handle all towing disputes and complaints
- Review & maintain compliance with local parking regulations
- Oversee maintenance and repairs of parking facilities & equipment
- Create and implement parking policies and procedures
- Monitor parking lot occupancy and revenue generation daily
- Manage customer complaints and feedback
- Prepare operational reports for ownership
- Occasionally complete tasks out-side of normal hours
- Other duties as required
Additionally, this position will assist the office staff with the following:
- Greet guests and tenants
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls
- Process credit card payments
- Assist office staff as needed
Skills:
- Prior experience working in a supervisory or management role
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
Requirements:
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, etc.
- Must be experienced in using basic technology such as a laptop, smart phone, printers, etc.
- Must be able to work independently
- Must have excellent organizational and time management skills
- Needs to have an upbeat and friendly attitude
- Skilled in taking photos and videos is considered as a plus
- Must be able to pass a background and drug screen test
Language: Ability to speak Spanish is preferred, but not required
