Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Guest Service Agent to join our team. As a Guest Service Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and will be responsible for ensuring that they have an exceptional experience at our hotel or resort. Your primary goal will be to provide exceptional customer service and maintain a high level of hospitality throughout your interactions with guests.
Responsibilities:
- Provide welcoming and friendly service to guests, ensuring that they feel valued and respected throughout their stay.
- Respond to guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and efficiently.
- Handle guest requests, including room reservations, check-ins, and check-outs.
- Utilize hotel systems, including phone systems and property management software, to manage guest interactions and provide personalized service.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of hotel policies and procedures, including room rates, amenities, and services.
- Perform night audit tasks, including reviewing room occupancy and processing any necessary adjustments.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, maintaining a positive and professional demeanor at all times.
- Provide support for other hotel staff, including maintenance and housekeeping personnel.
- Develop a strong understanding of the hotel's services and amenities, and provide guests with personalized recommendations and information.
- Maintain a high level of guest satisfaction, ensuring that guests feel valued and cared for throughout their stay.
Requirements:
- Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on hospitality and guest relations.
- Strong phone etiquette and experience working with phone systems.
- Experience working in a hotel or resort environment, with a focus on guest service.
- Proficiency in multiple languages, including or abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on attention to detail and multitasking.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; hospitality or customer service experience preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
