SUMMARY
Incumbents are working supervisors performing all duties of the Communications Officer position. In addition, incumbents supervise subordinates including scheduling and assignments, training, performance evaluation, discipline, and payroll. Supervisors also draft operating policies and procedures for review, conduct monthly records audits, and review audio tapes of communications.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or G.E.D., and at least four years experience as a Communications Officer including some lead experience; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed in the job description. Additional education cannot be substituted for experience.
