Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain cranes and other heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Perform pre-operational checks and routine maintenance on equipment
- Lift, move, and position materials using the crane according to project specifications
- Rig loads and ensure proper balance and stability
- Build and dismantle crane booms as required
- Assist with shipping and receiving duties as needed
- Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols while operating the crane
Requirements:
- Proven experience operating cranes or similar heavy equipment
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of crane operations
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and load charts
- Familiarity with warehouse operations, shipping, and receiving processes
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
