Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support and excellent customer service to patients and visitors.
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls and direct them appropriately
- Schedule patient appointments and maintain calendars
- Verify patient insurance information
- Assist with medical records management
- Handle patient inquiries and provide accurate information
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
- Utilize electronic health record system - Epic
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in medical administrative support or related field
- Proficiency in using office equipment and phone systems
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with front desk operations in a medical setting
- Experience with electronic health record systems like Epic is a plus
