Advancing Communities Everywhere is currently seeking a Qualified Mental Health Professional – Adult and Qualified Mental Health Professional – Child and Trainees. This position requires a person in the human services field who is trained and experienced in providing psychiatric or mental health services to individuals who have a mental illness. A criminal background check is required for this position, along with a search of the Virginia Department of Social Services/Child Protective Services Central Registry.
To qualify as a QMHP-A/C/T, the individual must have the designated clinical experience and must have one of the following:
A) A bachelor's degree or high level of education in a board-approved program from an accredited college or university with at least one year of clinical experience;
B) an individual with at least a bachelor’s degree in human services or related field (social work, psychology, psychiatric rehabilitation, sociology, counseling, vocational rehabilitation, human services counseling, or other degree deemed equivalent to those described) from an accredited college and with at least one year of clinical experience providing direct services to individuals with a diagnosis of mental illness;
C) A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in an unrelated field that includes at least 15-semester credits (or equivalent) in a human services field and who has at least three years of clinical experience.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
· Coordinate the development and timely submission of Individualized Service Plans and all other required program documentation
· Maintain and ensure compliance with DBHDS and Medicaid standard
· Ensure all Serious Incident Reports are completed within 24-hours
· Meet with clinical supervisor weekly to staff and assign/reassign cases
· Perform client file audits as needed to ensure compliance with all Medicaid and DBHDS standards
· Ensure safety planning is completed on day 1 of service initiation due to the acute nature of symptoms and short admission time period
· Ensure all Human Rights reportable incidents are investigated and reported according to agency policies and all necessary steps are taken to protect clients'
· Adhere to all agency’s policies/procedures and complete other tasks assigned by the Crisis Supervisor and Program Director for the successful operation of the program
· Direct Service Implementation Daily/Weekly.
· Attend scheduled and Mandatory Staff Supervision and organizational meetings.
