Manistee County 911 Central Dispatch is accepting resumes for a full time Dispatch position. Preferred candidate should have 1 year prior experience in Dispatch or 1 year prior experience in customer service. 911 is a fast-paced environment, being a self-starter is a plus. The position involves working 12-hour shifts, holidays and weekends. Applicants must possess exceptional organizational skills, be able to multi-task, communicate effectively, be familiar with computer technology, and value a team approach to rendering service to the public.
Competitive wage and benefit package. Police, Fire, EMS background is a plus, but no experience necessary we will offer training.
Applicants will submit to physical and psychological testing, drug screening and background checks. Must have a valid Drivers License
