Corporate HR/Payroll Generalist – Fully Remote (CO, KS, NM, TX)
Hydro Resources Holdings Inc, has an immediate opening for a HR/Payroll Generalist for our office in Texas (remote). The HR/Payroll Generalist will be working under the direction of the Corporate HR/Payroll Manager and working with the Corporate HR/Payroll Coordinator in order to ensure that all multi-jurisdictional human resource processes and payroll functions for the company are carried out in a timely manner and accurate manner. This position will be expected to provide daily assistance and leadership with the recruitment process, employee record maintenance, employee benefits, policy implementation and backup to payroll processing for all Hydro Resources Holdings multi-state offices by adhering to all federal and multi-state labor laws.
HR/Payroll Generalist functions:
- Organize and coordinate the company wide talent/recruiting processes (create ads, manage on-line postings, review new hire paperwork).
- Utilize the company's applicant tracking system, ADP's Recruiting Management, to facilitate all talent acquisition efforts and to ensure compliance with all hiring practices and policies.
- Leads the ADP Recruitment Software and Onboarding processes by collaborating with the local office staff on a daily basis and ensuring compliance and accuracy of the data being captured.
- Suggest process improvements and opportunities so as to ensure a smooth new hire on-boarding environment, capturing of complete and accurate new hire documents, pre-employment drug screenings and pre-employment background checks.
- Assist the Corporate HR/PR manager with highly confidential internal investigations, and employee complaint processes.
- Assist local office HR representatives and supervisors with documenting employee progressive write ups and/or personnel improvement plan documentation.
- Provides guidance and assistance to employees regarding the interpretation, compliance of Human Resource policies and procedures, state and federal laws including ADA, Cobra and FMLA
- Process Family and Medical Leave (FMLA) requests.
- Process unemployment claims'employment verifications
- Work with the benefit providers on behalf of the documented employees concerns and issues towards resolution.
- Communicates information and collaborates with the local office staff to help answer employee benefit, payroll and timekeeping related questions.
- Maintains strict confidentiality and data security of all HR, Payroll and Employee related files.
- Assist with managing all employee benefits plans, including enrollments, changes and terminations. Ensure that the proper payroll deductions and approvals are processed through the ADP WorkforceNow payroll systems.
- Backup to the Corporate HR/Payroll Coordinator, will assist with processing full cycle payrolls (Bi-weekly'Semi-Monthly'Certified Payrolls) for 390+ employees that are multi-state.
- Assist with reconciling and processing employee benefits and payroll invoices
- Performs additional special projects and tasks as directed by the Corporate HR/Payroll Manager.
Professional Requirements:
- Associates in HR or Business Administration or related field preferred
- Minimum two years of related HR/Payroll experience
- Minimum two year of related human resource experience
- Strong analytical skills and basic understanding of accounting principles
- Ability to handle highly confidential information with the utmost care and discretion
- Professional demeanor, friendly and approachable
- Team player with excellent customer service skills and a natural desire to assist others
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now, Recruiting Management and Enterprise eTime a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills.
- Strong initiative, ability to anticipate issues proactively.
- Strong ability to help resolve employee issues and concerns.
- Commitment to multi-state HR/Payroll best practices and regulations including knowledge of HR/Payroll law/regulations.

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in SharePoint, Microsoft Office 365 and Microsoft Teams or related software
- Must be able to effectively manage changing priorities and work to strict deadlines

- Ability to work on own initiative, with minimum direction.
