Hiring Range: $17.28 - $18.45 hourly (salary to be commensurate with qualifications)
This position will primarily work out of our Bear Creek Regional Park location.
This position has an anticipated work schedule of Friday - Saturday from 6:00am-2:30pm, and Sunday 6:00am-3:30pm, subject to change. Under FLSA guidelines, this position is non-exempt.

With limited supervision, assists with a variety of semi-skilled labor tasks in the areas of park and grounds maintenance, facility or equipment maintenance and construction.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Basic knowledge of grounds maintenance, hand and power tools, painting, plumbing and minor electrical repairs a plus.

Ability to follow safety precautions.

Ability to communicate and work effectively with County employees and the public.

Must be willing to work late evenings, weekends and holidays.

Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
Required Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent education.
Licenses/Certificates:

Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
Pre-Employment Requirements:

Must pass conditional post offer background investigation, motor vehicle record check, drug screen, and physical examination.
Duties are performed both indoors and outside in the field in various weather conditions. Requires physical effort to perform frequent lifting, bending and climbing. Must be able to safely lift and carry up to 50 lbs on an occasional basis. Physical hazard may be present when mixing or working with chemicals and working with or near power tools and motorized equipment. May be required to work evenings, weekends and holidays. May be required to work in park locations other than the preferred site location indicated. This is a part-time position regularly working up to 25 hours per week.
