Position: Model-Based Systems Engineer (MBSE)
Location: Everett, WA (onsite role)
- Proficiency in Python programming & Strong UI skills
- Experience with electrical systems and airplane wiring
- Familiarity with artificial intelligence best practices for design and development
- Model-Based Systems Engineer (MBSE) with a robust understanding of model-based system engineering
- Adept at developing test cases and detailed test steps to verify requirements
- Utilizing the Windows 10 operating system, and Working collaboratively with project teams.
Programming and Scripting:
ü Develop scripts and programs in Python to automate tasks and processes.
ü Write, test, and maintain code to support system modeling and analysis activities.
ü Utilize version control systems (e.g., Git) to manage code repositories.
UI Design and Development:
ü Design and develop user interfaces (UI) for system models and applications.
ü Ensure UI designs are user-friendly, efficient, and aligned with user requirements.
ü Utilize tools and frameworks (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular) to create interactive and responsive UIs.
Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE):
ü Develop and maintain system models using MBSE methodologies and tools.
ü Apply MBSE techniques to integrate system requirements, design, analysis, verification, and validation.
ü Utilize SysML or similar modeling languages to create comprehensive system models.
Artificial Intelligence Integration:
ü Implement AI best practices in the design and development of systems.
ü Integrate AI components into system models to enhance functionality and performance.
ü Stay updated with the latest AI advancements and apply relevant techniques to projects.
Electrical Systems and Airplane Wiring:
ü Understand and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams for airplane systems.
ü Ensure electrical system designs comply with industry standards and regulations.
ü Collaborate with electrical engineers to integrate wiring designs into system models.
Test Case Development and Verification:
ü Develop detailed test cases and steps to verify system requirements.
ü Perform system testing to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
ü Document test results and provide feedback to the development team for necessary adjustments.
Utilization of Windows 10:
ü Work within a Windows 10 operating environment, utilizing relevant tools and software.
ü Ensure system models and related software are compatible with Windows 10.
Collaboration and Communication:
ü Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary project teams to achieve project goals.
ü Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and clients.
ü Participate in project meetings, providing updates and insights on MBSE activities.
