Description:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Oversee sanitation, production, packing, and shipping processes in accordance with the Food Safety Program and HACCP.

Ensure proper documentation of procedures.

Constant visual inspection of premises, looking for potential hazards and maintenance issues.

Ensure that all proper GMP procedures are adhered to by all departments and visitors.

Receiving and labeling of raw materials.

Develop and maintain inspection reports

Ensure compliance to federal and state laws, as well as company standards and specifications

Maintain calibration of quality control equipment
-
Perform inspections across all stages of of production
-
Prepare and maintain test data for review
-
Evaluate data and draft reports, noting any relevant deviations from existing standards

Identify areas for quality control improvement and implement new methods accordingly

Communicate quality or compliance concerns with urgency
Requirements:
- At least 3 or more years of quality control experience
-
Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
-
Excellent organizational skills
-
Discipline, with relevant food processing experience.

Knowledge of USDA & FDA regulatory requirements
-
Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, Quality regulatory requirements and systems.
-
Understanding of manufacturing food processes.
-
Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
-
Bilingual: Ability to communicate in English and Spanish, both verbally and in writing.

Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills required.
