JOB PURPOSE:
- This individual will be responsible for keeping track of all orders and inventory currently on order, in stock, or potentially coming up. In addition, the individual will work with QC and Yard Manager to prioritize production items depending on customer requests and delivery schedules. They will also be the liaison for the office for all HR related tasks.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Product line forecasting from sold orders, potential, and will-call orders.
- Update and maintain spreadsheets for production
- Maintain reporting tools between office, yard, and Quality Control
- Product Inventory
- Daily pour reports/yields
- (Collect, document, monitor, and review data for accuracy and timeliness)
- Update Lightspeed inventory every week
- Year-end inventory true-ups
- Assist QC with product issues related to shipments or deliveries.
- Ensure production has proper stencils/labels for products.
- Direct/manage the placement of products off the production line or repair line.
- Supply Procurement / Receiving
- Assist project coordinator in forecasting material supply items & updating inventory as they are received. (boots, mastic, cogs, etc.)
- Evaluate the product selection and shipping process and work to improve efficiency.
- Manage clock-in/outs.
- Manage lunch breaks to ensure everyone is taking the required 30-minute lunches.
- Work closely with HR and help with any needed tasks.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS IN ORDER TO PERFORM ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Stand/walk – frequently – the combination of standing and walking up to a 10-hour shift
- Bend/stoop/twist – occasionally – in labor positions
- Repetitive use of hands
- Grasping tools – frequently
-Reach/push/pull – frequently - moving materials
- Lift/carry - up to 50 pounds – occasionally.
- Good vision and hearing
MENTAL REQUIREMENTS IN ORDER TO PERFORM ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Read and understand printed materials and/or means to compensate for such
- Comprehend and consistently perform the safety functions of the essential functions
- Comprehend reasonable instructions and plan steps to carry out essential functions with minimal supervision
QUALIFICATIONS IN ORDER TO PERFORM ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Strong computer skills
- Excellent communication and people skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Work independently or as part of a team, changing gears when required
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
- Accuracy and attention to detail required
NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned
- Monday – Friday
- Some overtime may be necessary during peak months
ENVIRONMENTAL:
- This position will be in indoor and outdoor settings, in various weather conditions.
- Exposure to mechanical hazards, vehicle traffic; slip/fall hazards
