Automotive General Sales Manager
We are currently seeking an experienced Automotive General Sales Manager to lead the sales team at our state-of-the-art facility located about 20 miles outside Chicago, IL. Ideal candidate will have aa successful track-record at a 250 to 300/Mo. high volume store. Import experience like Audi, Nissan, Kia, Hyundai, Honda, and/or Toyota preferred, but not necessary.
The ideal candidate must be willing to work closely with the General Manager to developing procedures and then implementing those policies and procedures with the sales management team. The GSM is also responsible to insure new and used cars sales goals are reached in our sales department.
Responsibilities of an Automotive General Sales Manager:
- Work with the General Manager on developing sales department policies and procedures
- Insure new and used cars sales goals
- Structure deals
- Close deals
- Confirm appointments
- Train and manage our team of Product Specialists
- Meet/exceed set CSI standards
- Meet/exceed dealership performance goals
Requirements of an Automotive General Sales Manager:
- Proven 5 years of sales experience in the automotive industry
- Import experience is a real plus, but it is not necessary
- VAuto (Provision) expert
- VIN Solutions CRM experience
- Great Work Ethic
- Must have good closing skills
- Superior communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving record
- A drug free environment
