Overview:
Olympia Doctors is recruiting a primary care and pain management physician to work in our growing organization. Primarily in the Tulsa and regional offices for ambulatory evaluations. Practice in an independent environment with full administrative support in a well-established multi-specialty Pain management, Primary care and Neurosurgery program. After 1 year participate in growth driven bonus opportunity. Our clinic is growing and thriving, serving a multitude of patients in Oklahoma for over 5 years. We have resources and outreach marketing to attract new patients and have new programs to retain and serve current patients for their long-term wellness and good health.
Our patients receive comprehensive labs and assessments from which we tailor highly customized therapies. These therapies are uniquely prepared by our treating physicians to best treat our pain and primary care patients, using the very latest scientific advances.
Within the scope of practice and subject to our Medical Director guidance, the Physician will conduct patient assessments, H&P, Physical examinations, medication review and detailed investigation of our patient’s chief complaint. The Physician will then prescribe an appropriate treatment plan from the approved plans our clinic offers and perform and document all procedures effectively when required.
We expect and depend on medical providers to appropriately but assertively treat our pain patients while staying within the guidelines supplied by the DEA and CDC . This is a critical element to patient wellness, satisfaction and the success of our clinic.

Responsibilities:
· Analyze and interpret the patient’s medical history, symptoms, physical findings, lab results and other diagnostic information to develop an appropriate diagnosis.
· Order, and interpret the results of diagnostic tests, including, but not limited to CBC and Hormone/Antigen Blood tests, BMI, EKGs, ultrasound among others.
· As clinically appropriate: From the diagnosis, recommend, promote and prescribe the treatment plans offered by the clinic.
· Prescribe medication dosages, routes and frequencies based on the patient’s characteristics and after evaluating contraindications and side effects.
· Counsel and educate each patient on the full parameters of treatment, expected results, potential side effects, complications, test doses, antidotes, interactions with other medications or consumables and self-care/after-care instructions.
· Detect and respond to any adverse drug reactions. Educate the patient to identify adverse reactions and what course of action should be taken.
· Educate and actively promote the long-term benefits of the various wellness offerings the clinic has to offer to enhance every patient’s overall wellness states.
· Once trained or oriented, competently perform all of the procedures required by the clinic.
· Treat all patients and staff with sincere respect and compassion. Use teaching moments through the day to educate and edify staff about clinical decisions.
· Must be and stay up to date with all CME and ACLS requirements. Must be thoroughly familiar with all aspects of our “Crash Cart” for any emergency.
Qualifications:
· Current active Medical License - State of Oklahoma MD or DO.
· Unrestricted DEA license and prescriptive authority.
· Specialty welcome: Pain management
· No Covid vaccine required, but welcome.
· ACLS Certification.
· Must adhere to the OMC Teammate Policies and maintain HIPAA Compliance at all times.
