Epidaurus Health is building Amphitheater, a SaaS solution designed to help payers optimize fulfillment of clinical guidelines for pharmaceutical prior authorizations. We have designed and patented a system in which best-in-class prior authorization guidelines for high-cost specialty medications are digitally curated and secured on a federated network.
We are seeking a talented Senior Full Stack Developer to join our engineering team. As a Full Stack Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining both the front-end and back-end aspects of web applications. **Responsibilities:**
- Lead the engineering effort in designing, and implementing highly scalable apps in AWS
- Write high-quality code with best practices and design patterns in mind and engage in code review/quality assurance
- Assist with creating and maintaining code repositories, CI/CD pipelines
- Use your experience to help guide technical decisions and participate in technical architecture discussions.
- Recommend, research, and analyze technical approaches for solving complex logic and integration problems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Participate in Agile development processes to ensure timely project delivery
**Requirements:**
- 8+ years of building and deploying enterprise level applications
- Proficient in Javascript/Typescript with expertise in one of Python, Go, Java or C#
- Strong understanding of client-side scripting and javascript framework React
- Strong experience in command line (Unix & Linux) navigation and revision tracking (Git)
- Experience working with message brokers such as Kafka and SQS.
- Experience with DevOps technologies such as Docker and Jenkins.
- Hands-on expertise with Amazon Web Services (AWS) such as S3, EC2, ELB, SNS, SQS, Lambda and CloudWatch.
- Varied experience with databases, DynamoDB and PostgreSQL preferred.
- Experience writing unit and integration tests to ensure code quality.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Nice-to-have :
- Experience with designing/programming healthcare apps and software systems
- Experience working at startups is considered a plus.
- Should be able to work out of our Alexandria office at least three days a week.
