Description:
The CubeFabs Process Engineer will work on a highly novel construction-related Special Project, defined by a Product Development cycle comprised of many component projects, with deployment sites across the globe. Specifically, they will be responsible for measurement and analysis of semiconductor manufacturing processes and facility, developing processes, control plans, Key Process Indicators and documentation, supporting the Quality system and implementing standard operating procedures. Their scope of responsibility covers end-to-end production, including process design collaboration, technology transfer, and full fab integration of new facilities. They coordinate the processes and requirements needed to produce the product line, including conveying all technical requirements for equipment and environment to the design and operations teams.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Experience with semiconductor fabrication processes, test and quality control.

Experience with continuous improvement/lean programs and proven troubleshooting skills.

Experience managing the installation of wide bandgap compound semiconductor process capital equipment, including both tools and software.

Experience in tech transfer and full fab integration.
-
Experience in semiconductor Analysis, Validation, and Characterization.

Experience reading and creating both Semiconductor Process and Facility Engineering (MEP) specifications, drawings, and documentation.

Ability to create and implement quality control procedures.

Attention to detail with a high degree of care.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Project, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word).

Strong project management and organization skills.

Must possess excellent communication skills.
Requirements:
Key Responsibilities
-
Work closely with the Program Manager on multiple non-linear and novel aspects of the Cubefabs Program.
-
Assist/lead in the validation of new and revised wafer manufacturing processes and equipment, ensuring compliance with all applicable company standards, procedures, and associated regulatory requirements.

Manage the installation of wide bandgap compound semiconductor process capital equipment, including both tools and software. Collaborate in the design and documentation of the above.

Measure, document, and continuously improve manufacturing processes.

Lead and support process improvements in partnership with operations to enhance product quality.

Conduct risk assessments.

Provide process documentation and operating instructions.

Collect and analyze key process indicators, cycle time and yield to drive process and quality improvement.

Develop standard operating procedures to improve operator efficiency and process consistency.

Utilize lean tools to develop and improve process efficiency, capabilities and production goals.

Develop training materials, conduct training, and assist in evaluating effectiveness of training.

Participate in continuous improvement projects events.

Education and Experience
-
Master’s or PhD degree in engineering or a relevant scientific discipline

A balance of experience in the semiconductor manufacturing industry and research, with a combined duration of 5 years minimum.

Salary: $110K-$145K
